Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Carlos, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in a vibrant educational environment near San Carlos, CA. As an OT, you’ll support students’ growth and independence through skillful assessment, intervention, and collaboration with school teams.

This role requires a total of 25 days of services, with the flexibility to fulfill the assignment by working either full-time for 5 consecutive weeks, or 2 days per week from your start date through the end of the school year (EOSY). Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
• Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic caseload and varying student needs
• Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary school teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct therapy sessions addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional school participation
• Maintain clear documentation of services delivered and student progress
• Consult with teachers and other staff to support generalization of skills within classrooms
• Participate in IEP and other team meetings as required
