Your insights and expertise will help shape programs that foster student growth and independence. Working closely with educators, families, and other professionals, you’ll evaluate student needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and monitor progress for a caseload of approximately 35 students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
- Experience or passion for working with school-aged students (Preschool–8th grade)
- Knowledge of IEP processes and requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and document a varied caseload effectively
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals in both school environments
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Adapt interventions to meet the needs of a diverse student population
