Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Francisco, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Comfortable managing a diverse K-12 caseload
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Skilled at collaborating with teachers, staff, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Passionate about helping students access education and improve functional skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized therapy for students across grades K-12
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided
• Provide consultation and training for staff on strategies and accommodations
• Adapt environment, materials, and activities to optimize student participation and independence
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
