Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (California)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-12 caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
- Knowledge of IEP documentation, implementing interventions, and goal writing
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage a dynamic workload across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for students with varied needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes
- Support classroom staff through training and consultation to optimize accessibility and participation
- Participate in parent meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions as needed
