Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (California)
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-12 caseloads
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
  • Knowledge of IEP documentation, implementing interventions, and goal writing
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage a dynamic workload across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for students with varied needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes
  • Support classroom staff through training and consultation to optimize accessibility and participation
  • Participate in parent meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions as needed
