Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in California
- Experience providing occupational therapy in school-based settings is highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and parents
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Pleasant, flexible, and adaptive approach to working within diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and determine students’ needs for occupational therapy services
- Develop targeted interventions and therapy sessions tailored to individual student IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress while adjusting strategies as needed
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals and classroom participation
- Offer consultative support and professional recommendations to educators and parents
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports according to school and regulatory requirements
