Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Experience working in school-based OT settings (K-12 students)
  • Comfortable providing OT services across various environments (in-school, home health, teletherapy)
  • Ability to create and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs throughout the school year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive assessment and intervention strategies for students
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct home visits or teletherapy sessions as needed to ensure continuity of care
  • Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in goal-setting
  • Promote student independence in academic and daily living activities
