Make a difference in students’ lives while utilizing your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the vibrant city of San Francisco. This contract opportunity spans the full 2026-2027 academic year, running from August 11, 2026 through June 2, 2027. As an itinerant Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the unique experience of working across multiple schools within a designated area in San Francisco, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. You will be on-site at all times, collaborating with educators and specialists to deliver vital OT services.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist License (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage a varied K-12 caseload across multiple schools
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • No educator credential needed
  • Flexibility and adaptability to move between locations within the district

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site OT assessments, interventions, and consultations for students (K-12)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student participation and success in school activities
  • Document progress and contribute to IEP reports and meetings
  • Collaborate with other educational and therapy professionals
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
