What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience working in school settings as an OT
• Proficiency providing home health occupational therapy services
• Solid knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-focused care
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs in the school environment
• Develop and implement therapy plans to promote functional independence and participation
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in classrooms, resource rooms, and home settings as needed
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes per school and state requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to create and review IEPs and student goals
• Educate staff and caregivers on effective strategies for integrating therapeutic techniques throughout daily routines
