This part-time contract opportunity allows you to broaden your impact, working with a diverse pediatric population and collaborating with supportive educational teams.

Your responsibilities will include delivering direct therapy, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and supporting students with a variety of needs to access their education. This role offers the flexibility of working four days a week, with the chance to grow your skills by serving multiple campuses.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT, preferably with pediatric caseloads
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with educators, families, and staff
  • Adaptability to provide services across more than one site
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Primary Duties:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in educational settings
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ participation and independence
  • Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each site and caseload
