Occupational Therapist School Setting - San Francisco, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active California OT license (or eligible to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but dedicated new graduates are welcome
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create and implement effective, student-centered interventions
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school schedules

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students for occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate OT goals into educational environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
• Promote self-care, classroom participation, sensory integration, and functional skills
