An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Occupational Therapists seeking a dynamic contract role in an educational setting. This position involves working onsite across multiple school sites, providing direct occupational therapy services to approximately 55 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a vital part in supporting students’ functional skills and helping them access their educational environment effectively.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Proven experience with IEP participation and leadership
- Comfort with technology, especially in digital documentation systems and electronic platforms
- Familiarity with SEIS preferred
- Previous experience supporting school-aged students across a wide grade span is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in line with individualized education program (IEP) goals for students at multiple school sites
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and other support staff, to ensure student needs are met
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, offering expertise in areas of student access, participation, and skill development
- Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation and service tracking for each student served
- Adapt strategies and interventions to support diverse learners from transitional kindergarten through high school
This contract position is set to begin August 6, 2026, and continues through February 12, 2027, with consideration for extension through the full school year. Working onsite provides the chance to form strong, face-to-face connections with students and staff while making a meaningful contribution across a supportive educational community.
