Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school–based OT setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric OT interventions
• Flexibility and adaptability in addressing varied caseloads and student needs
• Commitment to supporting IEP goals and compliance with relevant school policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and carry out individualized therapy services for students ages Pre-K to 12
• Document evaluations, progress, and therapies in accordance with school requirements
• Consult with teachers and staff to create and implement strategies supporting student learning and access
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise related to sensory and functional needs
• Adapt classroom activities and physical environments to promote inclusion and accessibility
