Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school–based OT setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric OT interventions
- Flexibility and adaptability in addressing varied caseloads and student needs
- Commitment to supporting IEP goals and compliance with relevant school policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and carry out individualized therapy services for students ages Pre-K to 12
- Document evaluations, progress, and therapies in accordance with school requirements
- Consult with teachers and staff to create and implement strategies supporting student learning and access
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise related to sensory and functional needs
- Adapt classroom activities and physical environments to promote inclusion and accessibility
