• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
• Knowledge of best practices in school-based OT services
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for a diverse student population

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct OT assessments for students to determine needs and eligibility
• Create and implement individualized intervention plans to promote students’ educational and functional abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student participation
• Provide direct therapy sessions to students, either individually or in groups, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
• Monitor progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a committed interdisciplinary team
• Offer guidance on accommodations and adaptive equipment in the classroom setting
