Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Confidence in managing varying caseloads with students ages K-12
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to help them access and participate fully in their educational program
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with educational teams to create supportive classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to help guide educational planning
  • Educate and consult with teachers, staff, and parents on strategies for supporting student development in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
