A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in San Jose, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop essential skills for academic success and daily functioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the school environment.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational and clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate services and support student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license recognized in California.
  • Experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably with a diverse K-12 caseload.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and development within an educational framework.
