This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support within a K-12 school environment in San Jose, CA. This contract position has an ASAP start and extends through the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students to determine occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff to promote inclusive practices and environmental adaptations.
