Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license for practice in California
- Successful completion of NBCOT exam
- Prior experience with K-12 students in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of individual students
- Experience with IEP development and documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assess, plan, and implement developmentally appropriate OT interventions
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school professionals to create and monitor individualized student plans
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expertise to support student outcomes
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ progress outside therapy sessions
