Occupational Therapist School Setting - San Jose, CA

This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support within a K-12 school environment in San Jose, CA. The role involves managing a dynamic caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering therapeutic interventions designed to enhance students' functional abilities and academic performance. This contract position has an ASAP start and extends through the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students to determine occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff to promote inclusive practices and environmental adaptations.

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential applicable for school settings.
