This role is designed to offer a healthy work-life balance, with a schedule of two mornings per week, totaling just 8 hours (typically from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM). You’ll play an essential part in helping elementary students develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and socially.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience as an OT in a school setting or with elementary-aged children is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of age-appropriate, evidence-based interventions for TK-5 students
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both school staff and families
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate approach to student care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with occupational therapy needs
  • Implement direct therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions focused on student growth
