Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to assess and address fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care needs
  • Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing IEP goals
  • Flexibility to adapt to students’ varying needs in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver direct OT services to students, based on individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's specific goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making timely adjustments as needed
  • Empower students to develop critical life and classroom skills to help them access the curriculum successfully
  • Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations
