Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to assess and address fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care needs
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEP goals
- Flexibility to adapt to students’ varying needs in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct OT services to students, based on individual education plans (IEPs)
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's specific goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor and document students' progress, making timely adjustments as needed
- Empower students to develop critical life and classroom skills to help them access the curriculum successfully
- Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations
