What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to assess and address the needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for empowering students to reach their fullest potential
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT services to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, record data, and document progress as required
- Deliver direct therapy interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
- Educate school staff and parents on sensory, fine motor, and self-care skill development to enhance inclusion
- Adapt and modify activities and environments to maximize student independence and participation
