Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged children
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for children with diverse needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as indicated in IEPs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and write clear assessment reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to team decision-making
- Collaborate with teachers and families to develop classroom strategies that support student participation
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes
