Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for children with diverse needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as indicated in IEPs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and write clear assessment reports
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to team decision-making
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to develop classroom strategies that support student participation
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes
