Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred

  • COTA and OTR candidates with school-based backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy services to students with diverse needs, addressing motor skills, sensory development, and adaptive functioning
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and progress records
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other school staff for coordinated care
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to classroom environments for optimized learning experiences
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and insight into student development
