A rewarding opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students’ growth and success. This is a full-time, onsite contract position based near San Jose, with an immediate start available through June 11. Your expertise will make a real impact at two educational centers, providing direct services to students while collaborating closely with educational teams and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California, or eligibility under the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
  • At least two years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy, with a focus on developmental disabilities
  • Experience working in educational settings, bringing a deep understanding of students’ unique therapeutic needs
  • Strong collaborative skills for partnering with teams and families
  • Commitment to providing in-person, onsite services (remote or hybrid not available)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to students, addressing needs in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to IEP planning and student progress reviews
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and document interventions in compliance with school protocols and state guidelines
  • Provide consultative support and educational resources to school staff and families to enhance student participation and success
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
