Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license (OT)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially in educational settings
  • Comfort developing IEP goals, conducting assessments, and maintaining documentation
  • Clear communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs and district guidelines
  • Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills to inform interventions
  • Document progress, update goals, and participate in student support meetings
  • Provide consultation to teachers and parents aimed at promoting student independence and success
  • Support the facilitation of classroom participation and access to educational activities
