Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Jose, CA

As a full-time contract professional, you will make a difference across three schools, managing a diverse caseload of students who require both direct support and consultative intervention.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapy license in California
• Experience delivering therapy in educational or pediatric environments preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Strong organizational skills to balance direct services (currently 22 students) and consults (currently 13 students)
• Flexible approach to adapt to various school schedules and student needs
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care

Your responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individualized therapy sessions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and classroom integration
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
• Travel between three school sites as scheduled (full-time, 8 hours daily)
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
