You’ll provide both direct services—currently working with 22 students—and consultative expertise for an additional 13 students, ensuring each individual reaches their full potential.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $55-$70, reflecting your experience and the vital role you play.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, goal setting, intervention planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation in diverse educational settings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to encourage student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Support students in developing functional skills for academic and daily living success
- Travel between assigned schools as needed within the district
