Embark on an engaging contract role as a dedicated Occupational Therapist, serving multiple school sites in a vibrant community near San Jose, CA. This full-time opportunity allows you to make a significant impact across three schools, supporting a diverse group of students. You’ll provide both direct services—currently working with 22 students—and consultative expertise for an additional 13 students, ensuring each individual reaches their full potential.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $55-$70, reflecting your experience and the vital role you play.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California OT licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, goal setting, intervention planning, and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultation in diverse educational settings
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to encourage student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Support students in developing functional skills for academic and daily living success
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed within the district
