Occupational Therapist (OT) – San Jose, CA | Elementary School

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in San Jose, California. This position will serve an elementary school caseload and is ideal for an OT who enjoys helping younger students develop the functional skills needed to participate successfully in the school environment.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students based on their individual needs and IEPs.
- Conduct OT evaluations and assessments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy goals.
- Support students with fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Recommend strategies, accommodations, and adaptive tools to support student participation and independence.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active or eligible California Occupational Therapist license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
- Must be available to work onsite
