Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Proven ability to provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students K-12
• Effective communication and organization skills to manage schedules across multiple sites
• Adaptability and resourcefulness working with diverse student populations
• Comfortable with traveling between schools in a designated region

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs for occupational therapy services in educational environments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target skills such as fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student participation in classroom activities
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
• Document all services, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as required by the school system
• Travel between assigned school locations within the region to deliver services efficiently
