Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Juan Bautista, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Valid California Occupational Therapist licensure (OTR/L) or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Successful completion of fieldwork in a pediatric or school-based environment
• Experience with customized evaluation tools and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across different campuses
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Collaborative approach with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress clearly and professionally
• Travel between assigned school sites to deliver therapy and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Offer training and support for instructional staff providing accommodations or modified interventions
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and state/federal regulations related to school-based OT
