This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to work closely with young learners while providing vital occupational therapy services. With a diverse caseload of over 38 students, you’ll engage directly in supporting both individual therapy needs and consultation services across two assigned sites throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy license for California
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Comfortable managing and prioritizing a caseload of 38+ students plus consults
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to K-8th grade students, tailoring services to diverse developmental needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy strategies across the learning environment
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate treatment plans, and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultative support for teachers and parents, ensuring best practices for student development
- Practice in compliance with ethical standards and state/federal regulations
