Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure in California
  • Prior experience as an OT within a school setting, preferably with PK-8th grade students
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and functional skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions based on student IEPs
  • Assess students’ needs and update documentation consistent with school and district protocols
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute to educational plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records, tracking student goals and service delivery
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate for all learners
