Step into a meaningful role as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students across K–12 as they reach their highest potential for the upcoming academic year. In this full-time contract position, you’ll collaborate daily with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team, helping to shape learning environments that foster every child’s growth and independence.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating students’ needs and developing tailored intervention plans, always keeping educational success in focus. You will deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services according to individualized education programs (IEPs), and regularly participate in IEP meetings to help shape student goals. Working hand-in-hand with teachers, parents, and administrators, you’ll identify necessary accommodations, recommend adaptive equipment, and monitor progress, refining intervention strategies as students develop new strengths.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings welcomed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
