Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of California
- Prior experience in school or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt to the diverse and dynamic needs of K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote students’ participation and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by district and regulatory guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and future recommendations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions
