Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Background working with K-12 students, including those with diverse needs and abilities
- Solid understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptive, resourceful, and dedicated to evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other related service providers to support student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and parent conferences as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive environment where students can reach their fullest potential
