Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
  • Experience providing OT services in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Background working with K-12 students, including those with diverse needs and abilities
  • Solid understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptive, resourceful, and dedicated to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other related service providers to support student success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and parent conferences as needed
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment where students can reach their fullest potential
