Make a meaningful impact this school year by providing dedicated onsite occupational therapy services to students. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate and make a lasting difference in a supportive educational environment just outside San Miguel, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and serve students across various grade levels during the full academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to effectively support students with diverse needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services to students according to IEP goals and established schedules
  • Partner with COTA to plan and implement individualized interventions
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations
  • Engage with parents and educational teams to monitor and adjust support as needed
  • Adapt approach to meet the unique needs and strengths of each student
