Licensed High School Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Miguel, CA

Make a positive impact working with students across elementary, middle, and high school settings! This contract position offers a dynamic environment supporting students’ growth and success through your expertise as a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license and certification
• Experience working in educational environments (elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred)
• Strong understanding of student development and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and administrators

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
• Perform skilled assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions that support physical, academic, and social growth
• Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student achievement and functional independence in the school setting
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
