Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist | San Miguel, California

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current OT license and certification required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Comfortable working with diverse age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ functional abilities related to school performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Document all interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student success
• Provide guidance to teachers and families to help integrate therapeutic strategies in classroom and home environments
• Adapt to the needs of changing caseloads and work settings within the district
