Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to help students access their curriculum and improve daily functioning
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Remain current on best practices and innovative strategies in occupational therapy
