Fine Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in Santa Ana, CA

Exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to provide on-site support for a school community near Santa Ana, CA! This full-time contract position covers a maternity leave from September 2026 through December 2026, with the possibility of extension through April. You’ll make a difference in the lives of 57 K-12 students across five campuses, collaborating with other therapy professionals and benefiting from dedicated support two days a week from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with strong school-based background
• Proven expertise in fine motor skill interventions and comprehensive student evaluations
• Experience with diverse therapy settings: on-site, home health, and teletherapy
• Familiarity working within K-12 educational environments
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students in accordance with IEPs across multiple school sites
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Communicate regularly with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and staff to support student participation and performance
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reports
• Collaborate with a COTA for two days each week to enhance service delivery
