Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a positive difference supporting high school students near Santa Clara, CA. This full-time position runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with a structured schedule of 40 hours each week.

You’ll provide specialized services to a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students across two high school campuses. Direct therapy totals about 1,500 minutes per month, supplemented with 240 minutes of group interventions. This is an ideal role for an OT who thrives in a school-based setting, values collaboration, and is passionate about empowering students to achieve their educational goals.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California OT license in good standing
  • Previous experience in school-based therapy settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing caseloads of secondary-level students with diverse needs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing student-centered, evidence-based therapy
  • COTA applicants are not accepted for this opportunity; VOCO (virtual services) is not an option

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and group occupational therapy services in alignment with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop measurable, individualized goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports
  • Travel between two high school sites as required
