Step into a dynamic, supportive school setting as an Occupational Therapist and use your expertise to nurture and empower students in their developmental journey. This part-time contract role is perfect for someone passionate about making a lasting impact with a manageable schedule. You’ll be working 8 hours per week—two days, approximately 8:30 am to 12:30 pm—serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Experience working in a K-5 school environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a diverse range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Provide consultative services and support to school staff for inclusive learning environments
