Looking for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in TK through 5th grade. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding setting where you'll facilitate student independence, participation, and success during the 2026-2027 school year. With a flexible schedule of 8-10 hours per week, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in a school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP documentation, goal writing, and progress reporting
  • Ability to adapt strategies for a range of needs across TK-5th grade students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students
  • Implement and monitor occupational therapy interventions to support student participation and access to learning
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate recommendations within the classroom
  • Maintain thorough records, including progress notes and reports in accordance with school guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings as an active member of the student support team
  • Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications when needed
  • Offer training and guidance to staff and parents regarding occupational therapy supports
