Your role will be vital in helping students develop the skills needed to succeed—both in and out of the classroom.

Ideal candidates hold or are eligible for a valid Occupational Therapy license per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act. Your background should include at least two years of pediatric clinical experience, ideally with a focus on developmental disabilities and a proven track record in educational settings. Collaboration is key; prior work with multidisciplinary teams and families is highly valued.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California or eligibility for licensure
• At least two years of pediatric therapy experience, particularly with developmental disabilities
• Experience in a school-based or educational setting
• Strong skills collaborating with teams and families
• Commitment to in-person, onsite service (no virtual or hybrid options available)
• Full-time availability, covering a 37.5-hour workweek

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Provide direct intervention services aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Document and track interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and ongoing professional development
