Take your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a vibrant, collaborative school environment in the Santa Clara area. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a direct impact across three schools, providing essential support to students with diverse needs. With a caseload of 22 students receiving direct services and 13 on consult, every day brings fresh opportunities for meaningful work and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • California-licensed Occupational Therapist (active and in good standing)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sites and caseloads efficiently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with families, staff, and fellow service providers
  • Ability to adapt to students’ individual needs and integrate therapeutic strategies into educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and participate in the development of IEPs for assigned students
  • Provide consultative support and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student growth
  • Monitor student progress, maintaining clear documentation and timely reporting
  • Travel between three local school sites, ensuring high-quality therapy across each location
