Step into an impactful role supporting elementary-aged students as a part-time Occupational Therapist within a vibrant educational environment. This contract position, situated near Santa Clara, CA, focuses on students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy a balanced, part-time schedule—work just 8 hours per week over two mornings (approximately 8:30AM to 12:30PM). Earn between $55 and $70 per hour as you help growing minds achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in pediatrics
  • Familiarity with assessments, IEPs, and OT interventions for elementary students
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Compassion and adaptability when collaborating with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and provide direct intervention for students TK-5th
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on student plans
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
  • Maintain thorough records of services provided and progress reports
  • Offer consultative support to staff and family members, ensuring effective carryover of strategies in classroom and home environments
