This part-time position—covering two mornings each week (approximately 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM)—gives you the chance to make a real difference while maintaining balance in your schedule. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid California Occupational Therapist licensure (OTR/L)
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with TK-5th grade developmental milestones and school-based OT practices
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth, participation, and independence

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs
  • Deliver direct OT services, both individually and in small groups, as specified in students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to integrate OT strategies within the classroom environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and reports for compliance and planning purposes
  • Engage in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
  • Offer consultative support and resources to families and staff to promote student success and inclusion
