Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid California Occupational Therapist licensure (OTR/L)
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with TK-5th grade developmental milestones and school-based OT practices
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth, participation, and independence
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs
- Deliver direct OT services, both individually and in small groups, as specified in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to integrate OT strategies within the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and reports for compliance and planning purposes
- Engage in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Offer consultative support and resources to families and staff to promote student success and inclusion
