Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings is essential
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Flexibility regarding grade or age group placements
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- SIRAS knowledge is advantageous but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting educational access and independence
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Adapt sessions to meet a variety of student needs and grade levels, as assigned
- Communicate progress and recommendations with families and educational teams
- Stay current with best practices in school-based OT
