This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic setting where you'll deliver direct therapy and consultation services to help students reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently, providing both direct therapy (currently 22 students) and consultative support (13 students)
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services, focusing on enhancing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and participation in academic activities
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents through consultative services to support generalization of therapy strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, IEPs, and multi-disciplinary team activities to ensure comprehensive care for each student
  • Travel between assigned school sites, spending 8 hours per day focusing on student success
