Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to manage a caseload with both direct service (22 students) and consultative supports (13 students)
- Flexibility to travel between three school sites during the school day
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultative recommendations and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Perform assessments and collaborate on goal development for student support
- Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to team discussions
- Facilitate adaptive strategies and interventions to promote student participation and achievement
