This contract role offers consistent hours—just two mornings each week from 8:30am to 12:30pm—throughout the 2026-2027 school year. As an Occupational Therapist in this school-based setting, you’ll work closely with teachers and families to develop and implement customized strategies that empower students in their academic and daily life. Compensation for this opportunity ranges between $55-$70 per hour, rewarding your commitment to making a tangible impact.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working with TK-5th grade students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Compassion, patience, and a passion for supporting children’s development
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Developing and implementing school-based OT interventions and treatment plans
- Supporting students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
- Collaborating with educators and families to integrate practical strategies into the classroom and at home
- Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings as required
