Make a difference in young learners’ lives as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting TK-5th grade students. This contract role offers consistent hours—just two mornings each week from 8:30am to 12:30pm—throughout the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll bring your expertise to a collaborative educational environment, helping students near Saratoga, CA, achieve their full potential.

As an Occupational Therapist in this school-based setting, you’ll work closely with teachers and families to develop and implement customized strategies that empower students in their academic and daily life. Compensation for this opportunity ranges between $55-$70 per hour, rewarding your commitment to making a tangible impact.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience working with TK-5th grade students, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Compassion, patience, and a passion for supporting children’s development

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
  • Developing and implementing school-based OT interventions and treatment plans
  • Supporting students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
  • Collaborating with educators and families to integrate practical strategies into the classroom and at home
  • Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings as required
