Occupational Therapist School Setting in Saratoga, CA

Make a difference in young learners’ lives as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting TK-5th grade students. This contract role offers consistent hours—just two mornings each week from 8:30am to 12:30pm—throughout the 2026-2027 school year. As an Occupational Therapist in this school-based setting, you’ll work closely with teachers and families to develop and implement customized strategies that empower students in their academic and daily life. Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working with TK-5th grade students, preferably in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
• Developing and implementing school-based OT interventions and treatment plans
• Supporting students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills

• Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings as required
