Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time School-Based Position

Location: Saugerties, New York
Position: Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
School Year: September 2 – June 24
Compensation: $50/hr

Position Overview

Cahill Elementary is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time position providing occupational therapy services to students across MTSS and general education populations.

The OT will work closely with school staff and other related-service providers to support students' participation and success in the educational environment.

Position Details
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Hours: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Location: Cahill Elementary, New York
Start Date: September 2
End Date: June 24
September 2: Staff/meeting day; students begin September 3
Caseload: Approximately 8 sessions per day
Students include MTSS and general education students
Shared therapy space with the Physical Therapist (PT)
OT is able to bill for snow days
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Occupational Therapist eligible to practice in New York
Experience working with school-age children preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
Commitment to supporting students' academic participation, independence, and overall success
