Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York (or eligibility)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based OT preferred
- Ability to provide individualized therapy in home settings
- Familiarity with supporting students diagnosed with multiple disabilities, developmental delays, HIE, and cerebral palsy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 3 individual OT sessions (30 minutes each) weekly for students with multiple disabilities and developmental and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, in a home setting
- Provide 1 individual OT session (45 minutes) weekly for a non-verbal, non-ambulatory student with global developmental delays and cerebral palsy secondary to seizure and infantile spasms
- Customize therapeutic approaches to each student’s needs
- Document progress and adapt plans as required
- Work closely with families and care teams to maximize outcomes
