Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a dedicated onsite Occupational Therapist. This full-time, contract position covers FMLA leave and ensures you’ll be actively engaged in a dynamic educational environment from August 7, 2026, with orientation starting August 3-4, continuing through mid-October. You’ll provide crucial services across both resource and self-contained classrooms, playing a vital role in your students’ educational and developmental journeys.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for schools
  • Previous experience in elementary and/or middle school settings preferred
  • Proficient in school-based therapy protocols, assessments, and documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to ongoing learning
  • Experience working with resource and self-contained student populations is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services for resource and self-contained students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
  • Utilize provided testing materials and equipment efficiently
  • Participate in evaluations and process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
  • Connect with colleagues in real time through regional intranet and ongoing meetings
  • Contribute to student evaluations and annual performance reviews
  • Engage in the “Buddy Program” for a supportive, comprehensive orientation experience
