Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Active Illinois educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of school environments (elementary, middle, and high schools)
  • Fingerprinting required for credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Manage a caseload across several school sites within the district
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
  • Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Empower students of varying ages and abilities by facilitating independence and participation in academic and social activities
