Occupational Therapist School Setting in Schaumburg, IL

This contract, full-time position caters to multiple school sites in a vibrant educational setting near Schaumburg, IL, supporting students from Pre-K through Transition (up to age 22). Enjoy the diversity of working with elementary, middle, and high school students as part of a collaborative team. This is an in-person role, not open to virtual or remote work.

What we're looking for:

• Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (IDFPR)
• School-based experience highly preferred
• Comfort and adaptability working across various age groups (Pre-K through Transition)
• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule, supporting multiple schools within a district
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing promptly

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Conducting assessments, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff for optimal student outcomes
• Managing a caseload that varies by assigned schools and student needs
• Providing documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and other student planning activities
