Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Active Illinois educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of school environments (elementary, middle, and high schools)
- Fingerprinting required for credentialing
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage a caseload across several school sites within the district
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Empower students of varying ages and abilities by facilitating independence and participation in academic and social activities
