School Occupational Therapist - Seaford, Delaware

This part-time opportunity involves working with students in grades K-6th across a flexible schedule of two full days and one half-day per week. You’ll deliver essential direct services while also reserving valuable time for collaborative meetings and evaluations.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Delaware licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Compassionate approach and adaptive problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-6
• Develop and implement individualized interventions to support student success in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to ensure holistic care plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and required evaluations
• Maintain thorough records of sessions and contribute to progress reporting
• Engage in periodic assessments and testing to inform student needs and goals
