Seeking an adaptive and resourceful Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract assignment supporting students across an entire county. As an itinerant OT, you will collaborate with elementary, middle, and high school teams, contributing to students’ functional skills and academic success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current OT license
  • Experience delivering school-based OT services preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare protocols and IEP processes within educational settings
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of the workday
  • Positive, flexible approach when caseloads shift or fluctuate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and intervention for students across elementary, middle, and high schools
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and support IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for each student
  • Translate OT recommendations into classroom strategies for student independence
  • Support students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and participation in daily school activities
  • Flexibly manage evolving caseload and schedules throughout the county
