Preferred backgrounds and experience:
- Active or pending state OT license or credential as SLP-CCC, SLP Healthcare, SLP Pediatrics, or SLPA (school or healthcare settings)
- Prior work in schools is valued but not required—your passion for pediatric settings and student services is what matters most
- W-2 contract employment eligibility
- Enthusiasm to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach
- Dedication to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing therapeutic interventions that address students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Completing timely assessments and accurate progress reporting
- Facilitating communication between teachers, families, and support staff
- Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize student outcomes
- Maintaining thorough documentation for direct and indirect services
